Large Glazing and a Gable End this might be a solution!!

Here’s an example of a bottom up blind covering a gable end, this job was fitted into a board room to allow presentations.

The fabric of the blind is stiffened with ribs to help avoid the fabric curling back at the edges. Ensuring the fabric fits into the shape of the window.

With this configuration, all the mechanics and fabric of the blind are concealed in a void below floor level leaving the glassing uncluttered. The only thing to keep in mind are that the lifting cables will be there over the glassing all the time. As you can see in the video thou, you soon look past them at the view.
