Conference and Board Rooms

Modern buildings have been designed to create a bright and comfortable environment to work in, by the designer maximising the amount of natural light entering the building. But this has caused difficulties in training, boardrooms and conference rooms where audio-visual equipment is in regular use.

Despite the increased performance of many of today's audio-visual presentation and video-conferencing systems, the environment must still be dimmed to produce a clearly visible image. Blackout blinds in side channels can obscure all light seepage from the window, resulting in total darkness.

The blinds can be motorised and controlled by wall switches, remote control and integrated into an AV system alongside with the lighting and projection equipment. Most blinds of this nature need to be hard-wired, but we can supply battery-operated blinds where retrofitting means providing mains electricity is impossible.
