Vertical blinds add quality and style to any commercial environment by providing shade or diffused light that can be simply controlled by the tilting of the vertical slats. Fabrics may be washable, flame retardant or blackout and can in many cases be matched to our ranges of roller blind materials.

Roller blinds may be the most common and simple form of sunblind - but there is a good reason for this - they are attractive, effective, economical and simple to operate. The roller can be operated in a number of different ways but the direct drive chain-operated friction unit has taken over from the older spring roller as the most reliable and easiest method of operation. The simplicity of the system lends itself to a vast range of fabric coverings and trim finishes and fabrics may be washable, flame retardent or blackout and can, in many cases be matched to our range of vertical louvre blind materials.

The latest type of material available (the SPC range) has been developed to give precise levels of heat and light absorption which can be specified according to on site requirements. This means that in special areas such as VDU operating rooms light can be adjusted to provide optimum health levels.

Venetians are a familiar sight to everyone and they have been used in some form for many years. A rigid headrail carrying horizontal slats which can be from steel, wood or aluminium, houses the controls for raising and lowering the slats and also for tilting them to a desired angle.
